Which digital measuring instruments suit student energy experiments?

The Student Digital Joulemeter is designed for student use and measures energy from 1 joule to 999,999 joules, with an accuracy of 3% and 1% typical. It runs from a 9V DC mains adaptor, which is included. The Digital Coulomb Meter displays up to 1999 nC with an accuracy of 10nC.

What does the micrometer screw gauge measure?

It takes outside measurements up to 25mm with a range of 0-25 x 0.01mm. It is made of nickel-plated brass with a ratchet top and a lock, and is supplied in a plastic case.

Which power supply unit suits thermionic tube experiments?

The High Tension Power Supply is designed for thermionic experiments such as the double fine beam tube. It gives two independent, continuously adjustable outputs of 0-35V and 0-350V at 100mA maximum. The EHT Power Supply has an auxiliary output to drive cathode heaters.

How does the ticker tape timer work?

An electromagnet drives a striker that marks dots on the ticker tape through a carbon disc at a rate of 50 to 60Hz. It is used to measure velocity, acceleration and general timing.
