About This Product
The switching transformer is wound so that the output voltage stays stable over time. Output current is limited electronically to 2mA, and 100K resistors on the outputs prevent larger transient currents. For electrostatic experiments the resistor-linked outputs give a short circuit current of 60µA, and the auxiliary output can drive cathode heaters. Export enquiries for the EHT Power Supply are welcome from Sierra Leone, Mauritius, Afghanistan, Burundi, Kazakhstan and Serbia.
Frequently Asked Questions
What voltage ranges does the EHT Power Supply offer?
It is continuously variable over 0-2.5KV or 0-5KV, at a maximum current of 2mA.
How is the output current limited?
Output current is electronically limited to 2mA, and 100K resistors limit transient currents. Secondary outputs are linked through 25 Mohm resistors.
