How to choose a burner

• Flame control: the Adjustable Bunsen Burner has a brass needle valve and air vents, the Bunsen Burner with Stopcock adds a stopcock in the inlet tube, and the Burner With Flame Stabilizer steadies the flame with an annular pilot ring.
• Temperature: the Meker Burner reaches up to 1750°C and the Burner Tirrill up to 1550°C, while the Burner, High-Temperature Natural Gas produces a very hot flame as for heating platinum wire.
• Stability: the Bunsen Burner with Flame Stabilizer has a 6 inch square base that keeps it from tipping, and the Meker Burner Heavy Base has an 80 mm die cast base.
• Gas supply: the Bunsen Burner with Flame Stabilizer is offered for natural gas or LP gas, the Natural Gas Burner uses a needle valve, and the Electric Burner needs no gas.

The Bunsen Burner Pilot Flame keeps a pilot flame burning, which saves time when the burner is only needed on an intermittent basis. Its pilot light tube has a screw adjustment for flame control.

Is there an option for rooms without a gas supply?

The Electric Burner is a replacement option for conventional gas Bunsen burners and includes a wire safety guard. The Alcohol Burner, Wickless holds up to 95 mL of denatured alcohol, burns for over an hour and will not leak when tipped.
