How to choose a model

Tube size: 15 ml tubes suit the bench and clinical models; 0.2 ml to 2 ml microtubes and PCR strips suit the micro, mini and high-speed models; capillary tubes need the Hematocrit Centrifuge.
Speed: the general-purpose bench models list maximum speeds of 3,000 to 4,500 rpm, while the micro and high-speed models list 7,000 to 16,000 rpm.
Rotor head: the Centrifuge and the Laboratory Centrifuge have swing-out heads, the Clinical Centrifuge and the Economical Centrifuge have fixed angle heads, and the Fixed Angle Rotor holds 30 x 15 ml tubes.
