About This Product
Also called a revolution calibration meter or stroboscopic lamp, this unit flashes in step with a moving or rotating object so that it appears to move slowly or stand still. Reading the flash frequency from the display then allows the speed or rotational velocity of the object to be calculated. A microcontroller handles the processing, and a rotating encoder sets the frequency quickly.
Frequently Asked Questions
What frequency range does the stroboscope cover?
The triggering frequency range is 0.2~300 Hz, internal and external, with 0.2~180 Hz recommended.
Can it be triggered externally?
Yes, it accepts an external triggering signal of 5~12V pulses.
What is the stroboscope used for?
Synchronising the flash with a moving target makes it appear slow or stationary, allowing the speed or rotational velocity of an object to be calculated.
